Johns will hold a parking lot/yard sale on August 14 from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, with free items offered from 12:00-12:30. The sale will be held rain or shine. Setup will be 7:00 am – 7:30 am, and cleanup will be 12:30 pm until finished. The purpose of this event is to clean out the church of any unneeded items as we raise money for the Security Door Project. We will appreciate any help we can get. A signup sheet is in the Gathering Place if you are able to help. Times range from Wednesday through Saturday. Contact Wanda Esh Gregg at 717-278-5571 for details.
If you or anyone you know would like to participate in the sale, you are invited to do so at NO Charge. You must supply your own tables. You may not leave any items or trash behind, nor may you use the dumpster. If you are interested in space, contact Wanda at 717-278-5571.
In conjunction with the church’s sale, the Preschool will be selling materials. Read the letter below for details:
To all our church friends, Preschool is now cleaned out and ready to sell. We are offering you a first look and chance to purchase any of the items. All sales are by DONATION ONLY for whatever you may like to buy. Your donation goes directly to St John’s United Methodist Church.
We have books, craft supplies, toys, puzzles, shelving, cabinets, area rugs, tables, chairs, filing cabinets, and TVs. You are welcome to shop before and after church. Donations of cash or checks (made out to St John’s United Methodist Church) are accepted.
You can place your payment in the locked, gray box outside the Preschool door, beside the steps. We will also be open on August 14, the day of the church’s yard sale. Thank you so much!
